Street Furniture Music score and sound design Rocket The Reindeer in 3D
Street Furniture Music recently finished composing a full score for Rocket the Reindeer - The sensational 3D Christmas show, as well as doing the sound design and recording ADR for characters like Rocket the Reindeer, the very cheeky snowman, the adorable Elf and the Wishfairy.
Rocket needs to find his missing antler so he can fly with the rest of his reindeer friends on Christmas night with Santa. With the help of the magical Wishfairy he finds the magical powers to help grow his antler back. A very enchanting and wonderful Christmas experience not to be missed.
The sound design and sound mix were also produced at our recording studio in Soho.

MICO performs with Nitin Sawhney and the London Symphony Orchestra
Mico, aka Mieko Shimizu will be performing live with Nitin Sawhney and the London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican a new score to Mikio Naruse's 1933 silent film Yogoto No Yume - Nightly Dreams.
'Naruse's stylish cinematography, centred around the tragic world of Japanese barmaid, Omitsu, expreses a hypnotically arresting contemporary social realism that is a gift to score.' - Nitin Sawnhey
Tortoise in London Short Film Festival
Street Furniture Music have created an original score for 'Tortoise', featuring The Emanuel School Choir. The sound design and the sound mix were also produced at our recording studio at 32 Berwick Street, Soho.
With Matthew Kelly, star of British TV over the last 25 years, Tom Hughes, from Sex & Drugs and Rock & Roll where he plays Chaz Yankel in the new Ian Dury Biopic and Cemetery Junction, yet to come out, Directed and Written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant also starring Rob Ostlere, up and coming new talent.
Two teenage brothers reach tipping point with their violent, emotionally damaged father. They decide to leave, without anything but each other and a little hope. Tortoise is a brutal, reflective thriller played out on some less trodden and windswept shore of England.
Lost Monsters at Everyman Theatre in Liverpool
Street Furniture have been busy composing and sound designing a new play for the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool. The story is about three runaways stranded and seeking refuge in an isolated house in a forgotten valley with only the litter and noise from the surrounding motorway above as company. As society whizzes by all around, they enter a world of dreams and nightmares.
This new play for our time is brimming with savage humour, touching humanity and visual invention. The exciting cast of four is Joe McGann (Fiddler on the Roof), Rebecca Ryan (Shameless), Nick Moss (Urban Legend) and Kevin Trainor (Hellboy).

The Red Balloon at the Royal Opera House
A full length ballet production, Red Balloon, based on Albert Lamorisse's film and children's story of the same title (Fr. Le Ballon Rouge).
The new score is written by Street Furniture Music to join with Aletta Collins's dance to bring alive, in the Linbury Studio Theatre at the Royal Opera House. This joyous evocation of a 1950s Parisian childhood that made the Oscar winning original film of 1956 the classic that it has become.
The World Premiere is Thursday the 9th of April and it will run until Saturday the 18th of April including a matinee performance augmented by a String Ensemble from the Royal Opera Orchestra on Friday the 17th of April in the Paul Hamlyn Hall.

Takeover at Royal Festival Hall
One of our composers Mico will be performing at this years Takeover Festival held at Southbanks Royal Festival Hall. Takeover has been over a year in the making and will be an extraordinary mix of surprising and super-fresh sounds, jaw dropping visuals, high voltage spoken word and culture-clash choreography.
Street Furniture Music have completed the music for 'Lapdance' a short film part of 3 Minute Wonder; a Channel 4 television slot that broadcasts directors' three-minute TV programmes in the middle of the channel's weekday primetime schedule.
